  3. Efficient EDC Solution 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Dec 2015

I've carried the Micro Kit for a few weeks now and it makes it easier and more comfortable to keep those everyday essentials handy. Mine is loaded up with a Leatherman Charge TI and bits, small microfiber lens cleaner, a 5.11 Tactical penlight and pen, plus a tiny mechanical pencil. I cut down a Field Notes memo book and took the cover off it to fit in the pocket. Have also shoved a couple packs of Advil in there as well as a couple $20s.

    I discovered $20 Bandit on everydaycarry.com

  4. Can't argue with the quality and value for money! 4 Star Review

Firstly, I was very surprised at how quickly the product shipped to the UK. The Micro Kit is very well-made and functional. There's hundreds of ways you could use these things. With this one, I have used it as a mini emergency/utility kit for the car and it comfortably holds everything I need in it (knife, torch, lighter, notepad, pencil, other tools, etc). The beauty of this product is that if I can easily put it in a pocket and take it with me.

The elastic straps that hold things in the Micro Kit can be a little bit stiff, however, I do not deem this to be a completely negative thing. It's part of the quality build of this thing and you get used to it. It's a lot like the materials on the kit I was used to dealing with in my time in the military...a little awkward but absolutely functional.

The Micro Kit is very well thought-out though, despite it's simplicity. The elastic straps offer numerous different ways of storing different sized items and the little pouch at the bottom stops any items potentially going wayward if they slip from the elastic strapping (which is itself unlikely). The clear plastic screen is also a great idea as it allows for notepads or small/folded-up maps to be read in the rain and also offers protection to mobile phones and other electronic devices.

The only thing I would mark this excellent piece of kit down for is that the depth of storage within the Micro Kit is somewhat limited by the amount of material available where the kit folds over on itself. If you have a few bulky items in it, it doesn't quite close up properly. If there was a little bit more material available in the middle where it folds then this would be easily fixed.

I am very impressed with this product and I'm thinking about ordering another one soon to use for something else. I'll probably try out one of the other sized kits too.

  5. Micro kit EDC pouch 5 Star Review

This pouch is of great quality. The perfect size for my pocket first aid kit. Unbelievable how much I can get into this pouch and yet it is still small enough to fit in my pocket. I would recommend this product and look forward to purchasing more.

  6. Great product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Nov 2015

Not much to say that Rob didn't cover - great build quality and infinitely useful. I don't like to carry a lot of EDC stuff around, but this allows me to carry a knife, flashlight, and some basic emergency gear in a pouch that's pre-packed and small enough to throw in any bag I'm carrying, or even the back pocket of my jeans if I'm so inclined.

Really happy with this product and considering buying another, or possibly a different size. Compare the build quality and innovation at this price point to other EDC/admin pouches on the market and this is a great value. Shipped fairly quickly, would definitely do business again.

  7. Useful and made in America! 5 Star Review

If your reading this review stop now ! Put this in your cart and purchase it,you won't be disappointed! . Eric a.k.a 20 dollar bandit has put a lot of thought into his gear and has committed to organizing "every piece of e.d.c gear". This stuff is made right here in the good ole' U.S.A by veterans.
Do I need to bore you and go on about all the uses for this or everything that I carry In my pouches not really! Just know that your getting great gear at a great price . Support the little guys and buy American.

  8. The perfect EDC system. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Nov 2015

The grail of EDC pouches? I think so...

Most EDC/organiser pouches I've tried over the years always seemed to be a compromise between usability and bulk, the Micro Kit Pouch addresses both of these issues with both simplicity and finesse. The dual layer elasticated loops hold all your basic EDC requirements securely; knife, light, pen, etc with room to spare with the addition of a deep slip pocket behind them. The clear slip pocket on the opposite side has a multitude of uses, including letting you use your touch screen phone/PDA or other device while in situ. I use it for the Micro Medic Kit which is a perfect fit and will cover most of the daily minor cuts, abrasions and minor injuries you're likely to encounter.
The biggest advantage for me is the unobtrusive nature of the pouch, it will slip easily into most cargo or jacket pockets meaning I'm more likely to have it with me when I need it. Simply put this pouch is a well built and thought out pouch that'll likely change the way you every day carry.

  9. Another triple7 grand slam 5 Star Review

What to say about triple 7 gear and the micro kit?
If you're reading this review your probably about to purchase a great piece of organizational edc gear!

First off Eric a.k.a 20$bandit is an all around great guy that has a passion for guns, knives, flashlights and gear just like a million other gear whores! He has created some organizational gear that has far exceeded his expectations. (And mine for that matter). There's many reviews out there on his gear that you can watch on YouTube but until you actually order this gear and get it in your hand you can't get feel for just how well it works. There are hundreds of different uses for this gear, I'm a firefighter/emt/elevator mechanic and family man. I needed some orchestra that could withstand everyday carry and abuse in my line of work. I carry this particular pouch in my cargo pocket with a mini first aid kit and some other essential e.d.c gear. Bottom line just buy it already ! And look for a ruck in the future from eric!

  10. A Good EDC Organiizer 4 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Aug 2015

At first I came across an issue with the micro kit. I couldn't fit a Field Notes, note pad in either pouch without crushing note pad. That was a big issue because I carry a note pad on a day to day basis. I also tried a Right in the Rain Note Pad and a military issue Memorandum note pad. Both did not fit in the pouches. If I can make an adjustment to the micro pouch it would be that it can fit a note pad in the pouches. However I did find a compromise. I was able to put any note pad in the elastic strap, which worked perfectly fine. The other items I carried in my micro kit was an Hinderer Investigator pen, a Sharpie, a potentiometer turner( i adjust amplifiers constantly as a technician), nail clippers, and a Gerber Artifact. All these items met my day to day needs sitting comfortably in my back pocket. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that needed to organize their EDC into one glorified badass nerdy pocket protector. DO IT!!!
